Patricia Apollonia Kotero (born Patricia Apollonia Kotero) is an American performer, actress and model. She was a model for a while before becoming an actress. The most well-known of her works is the star of Prince's 1984 Purple Rain film and lead singer of the girl group Apollonia 6 Apollonia, a singer/actress who was christened by Prince in 1984 was one of the female musicians of the 80s that benefited from Prince. Kotero broke up with Prince when they fell apart over the direction of Apollonia 6. She then appeared in a few minor films in the 1980s (reportedly not accepting the opportunity to appear in the follow-up to Purple Rain Under the Cherry Moon) and then settled on a night-time role in the drama Falcon Crest in 1985-1986.
