
Amanda Louise Holden was born 16 February 1971. She is an English actress, media personality and a singer. She has served as a judge on Britain's Got Talent, an ITV talent show since 2007. She also hosts the Heart Breakfast radio show with Jamie Theakston on weekday mornings. Holden was born in Portsmouth in Hampshire. She spent the majority of her early years in Bishop's Waltham. At nine she joined the Bishop's Waltham Little Theatre Company. Holden has also appeared in TV in three seasons of Kiss Me Kate, starring Caroline Quentin and Chris Langham. She was also a part of three ITV series The Grimleys and Celeb with Harry Enfield episodes. A Boxing Day special Agatha Christie's Marple episode "4.50 From Paddington", starring Geraldine McEwan as well as John Hannah. He co-starred with Bill Nighy (and Tom Courtenay) in Ready When You Are Mr. McGill, Jack Rosenthal's comedy drama. Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams are judges on Britain's Got Talent. She joined the show in 2006.
